New Faculty Appointments

Yvonne Randolph joined the management faculty as an instructor in the Department of Management and Marketing August 2017 after teaching for the department in a one-year term position. Yvonne has a Master of Science in Mass Communications from Arkansas State University. Yvonne previously worked as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Director of Admissions and Recruitment, and Director of Academic Advising and Student Activities for Three Rivers in Poplar Bluff, MO. She also worked as the Director of Marketing for the Twin Rivers Regional Missouri Medical Center in Kennett, MO. Yvonne is a Partner in the Heart Consulting Group doing consulting for patient satisfaction and hospital leadership.

Yvonne has taught Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Public Relations, and Marketing for Healthcare Services Organizations. She is an advisor for the International Business Club.

 

James Youn joined the marketing faculty in the Department of Management and Marketing August 2017. James is finishing his Ph.D. degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. His dissertation is entitled “Country Related Affect and Foreign Brand Choice.” At Southeast, James has taught Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Distribution Management to undergraduate students and International Business Strategies to graduate students.

This fall he is teaching Strategic Marketing to graduate students and Introduction to Business Research to undergraduate students. He also is one of the inaugural instructors teaching BA101 The Business Universe, a new freshman course team taught by faculty. James serves as advisor to the International Business Club and the Korean Student Association. He traveled with students to the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference and Competition in Washington D.C. this spring.
